Delete your Wedelia account
You can permanently delete your Wedelia consumer account inside the app or start a verified deletion request by email.
Delete inside the app
- Open Wedelia and sign in.
- Open Settings, then Privacy.
- Choose Delete account.
- Read both confirmation prompts and confirm the permanent deletion.
The app deletes your Wedelia product account, connected-Google credentials and connector records, and its Google Identity sign-in record, then signs you out.
Disconnect Google without deleting Wedelia
Open Profile, then Connections & integrations, choose Google, and tap Disconnect. This immediately disables Wedelia’s encrypted credential and stops new Calendar, Gmail, and Drive access. You can also revoke Wedelia from your Google Account permissions. To remove the disabled credential record and Google-derived chat history as well, delete your Wedelia account.
Request deletion without the app
Email jack@wed.chat from the address registered to the account with the subject “Delete my Wedelia account.” We may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account before completing the request.
Start an account deletion request
Data deleted
- your active Wedelia consumer account and settings;
- conversation history, companion personas, memories, people and diary records associated with the account;
- product media records, reactions, notifications and device tokens associated with the account; and
- encrypted Google Workspace OAuth credentials and connector records; and
- the Google Identity record used to sign in to Wedelia.
Limited data that may remain
De-identified service-cost and security records may remain where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Backup copies expire through the normal protected backup rotation. These retained records are not used to restore an active account.
